The windows in the "afloat" pictures are outlined in black with a 5mm permanent marker. I don't think the outlining idea is working for me. I made the pilothouse assembly removable for reasons such as this and to replace the light bulb should it ever blow. I plan on trying to locate some "smoked acetate" or something similar to replace all the windows. These scale models are never truly finished but instead a continual work in progress.
