Nitro?
I've heard of that stuff..just what is it?

Here in Oz it's exorbitantly expensive so we tend to use as little as possible. In my case, none at all. My standard brew for almost all engines is FAI, 20% castor, although when I remember to get some I'll add about 3% acetone.
Apart from cost my other reasons for NOT using nitro are that it can't possibly improve on one flick starts, idle speeds are more than low enough to prevent unwanted taxiing, better fuel consumption, more than adequate power and I've never had a rusted bearing (the castor helps here of course).
My RC engines running this fuel include Rossi 45, Enya 60X, Enya 80X and SC 108. CL engines include piped OS40VF, piped Irvine 40RLS, Stalker PRO61RE and ST 51 (although the ST uses 25% castor).
