Hey Guys. I was flying my BME Cap Maniac today and had the weirdest thing happen to my servos and was wondering if anyone else has had this occurence.. To give you a little rundown the plane has an O.S 91 FS on it. i have Hitec HS 425BBs in it all the way around, I am also running a 6V regulator and A Kokam Li-Po battery. I was on the last flight today (I only put 3 on it) was not doing heavy 3D since the plane is a little underpowered for my taste. I had just completed a cuban 8 and went into a Hammerhead turn. on the down line as i was pulling out (not hard at all) the plane started doing violent snaps. I barely got it out and after that the elevator was acting very weird (still trying to snap) luckily i was facing the runway. i flew it off throttle harrier style and decided the landing was going to be bad so i managed to put it in some Very tall grass at the end of the strip to help cushin the landing. It came out unsctratched. then i started playing with the elevator to see what happened. it worked up and down fine.. then i grabbed one side and gave it elevator and the side i grabbed had NO force. then i grabbed the other side and same thing it sit there while other moved (im running a Y no reverser) but if you let both go up it is difficult to push down if and. same downward. I find it highly unlikely that 2 servos would bite it at the same time.. the ailerons would not budge and rudder will not either. so it is just elevator. the odd thing is i have the same setup on my U-can-do and wring it out like i hate it with a YS 110 and have bent pushrods and have been flying it over a year with NO problem. could somthing have gone in the reciever or is this the servos themselves? there are no gears stripped just ZERO force in them.. has anyone had this problem????
