Yeah, this heli is super durable. Ive tipped mine in a few times. No damage other than a little monokote is missing from the blade tips.

This heli is terrific. If flys great and is really durable.

As far as a heading hold gyro. You should be able to connect it from the 4-in-1 box to the tail motor I would think.
Id just crank up the gain on the gyro.
