I'ts getting there. Here comes the tedious part of the build, the sanding and filling and sanding and filling and sanding and filling ....
Is the "canopy" a solid piece of balsa? If it is, I would recommend hollowing it out as much as possible. You might want to cut some lightening holes in the tail feathers too. The lighter the better, without sacrificing strength. I usd to know a racecar builder who once told me the best way to remove a 100 pounds from a car is to find 1600 places to remove 1 ounce.
