That's not too bad. I think my .15la w/ full built-up frame was about 26-27oz. Did you measure the weight on the bare airframe? Mine usually nail 9oz on the head.
The la lights up with a 7x6. Kinda hairy on the launches, but not horrible. An 8x4 gave me a rock steady launch. Surely the CVA will take a better prop!
