Here is a little info - On this size plane -keep wl under 10 oz sq ft - go for lower if at all possible
as for power setup you need to look at motor and batt as a unit - these are extreme differences in these combos -the efficicncies on older mottors especially brushed ,can be terrible.
for a trainer style flying - try to have static thrust as close to 75% of auw as possible.
We run 2-1 on our park flyers but these are very quick ,active models with wing loadings under 5 ozs.
If your wl is reduced - your pl can also be lower
said simply -lower wing loading allows less power to keep it in the air
