I was in Sweden in 1994 and they were still running the Viggens. They did a demo with a prototype of the JAS-39 Gripen for us. Awesome!!!!!!! Then the Flygvapnet let us fly the tactical combat sim for training new Gripen pilots. I have never had so much fun in my life! I also saw a Viggen take off from a remote country road base from 150 feet away. Talk about feeling your eardrums moving. Enjoy!
