RE: OPS Maxi 30cc Engine
I owned one for several years. Very long stroke, very tall engine. Hard to hide in a cowl.
Power slightly less than a ST 3000. I found an 18-10 prop to be best, but it will turn a large prop.
Will run on no-nitro fuel, but also does well on 10%.
Hand starts easily if primed and slapped backwards. Usually 1 flip.
Has a pumper carb so tank can be anywhere. The engine doesn't react instantly when you turn a needle so you have to get used to adjusting. If you try to adjust like a standard glow engine, you'll get frustrated. You have to turn a little, then wait for it to take effect.
Not many mufflers available. I recall I made an adapter for others.
