Default RE: phoenix funstar

Knight - its a lovely plane to fly, easy to built, only hard part building it is the routing of the throttle cable, the darn thing is designed badly that when you put in the wing it will push against the rod, so you need to add some balsa blocks as guides. Other than that its easy to build. She is totally easy to fly, however it bleeds speed pretty fast for a 3D plane. Inverted engines are easy to run as long as you learn to spend a little more time to tune her (I would say just spend about 1 hour extra only). My TT46 on the TT Spirit 3D runs inverted ... I start by twisting the spinner backwards. If you can try out the TT Spirit 3D ... its a much much better plane than the Funstar but the Funstar is a lot cheaper. Go for the Funstar if its your 1st 3D plane ... don't worry about the plane being so transparent, when you fly 3D you do not fly that far away ... also you should always just concentrate on the planes orientation in flight. Its not that difficult to see.
