Default RE: 3D simulators?

IMO G2 was garbage for 3D, even though I could get the stock 540 to hover and TR it was a different type of learning curve to get down than that of AFP or Reflex. I sold G2 after going to the field and trying my skills that I had thought I had mastered using G2 but I was unpleasantly suprised. Then I bought AFP and within 2 weekends I was touching the tail of my real plane on the runway of our field and, I had only practiced for about 3 weeks on AFP. Of course this is just my personal experience but no Sim is going to mimic your plane for real, simple reason we all dont fly identical planes. One Funtana will be set up and fly completly different than another and to copy what a computer has deamed to be "set up to fly" and what you the piliot actually have your plane set up as are prob wayy off. Also as an added effect it is just common sense to add in wind and turbulance ti the sim unless people here fly in a vaccume. Increasing the sim speed as GSP had said is also a big improvment with the hand eye coordination. I am not a fan of G2 and from what I have heard even though G3 has improved there are more unhappy owners than satisfied ones. Also dont discount Reflex again sims wont mimic everything exactly but between the 2 AFPD and Reflex I would say either is a great tool.
