This is not a good first bi plane to fly. Give your min 1/2 throws and use dual rates. Use flaps if you have them. Take off with good speed and keep speed on through landing. Give the rudder as much throw as possible for take off handling. Fight test, not bench test the engine in another aircraft. You do not want to dead stick this aircraft. If you have to dead stick, land it like the space shuttle.
