Default Getting your engines together

I just discovered a new gadget, the JR Matchbox. Probably a lot of you already knew about it as it is used a lot on the big planes for matching multiple servos on the same surface, 4 servos on rudder, for example. Since I don't fly the 1/3rd scale and larger, I had never tried one.

I have been mixing 2 channels for my twins, and this has worked well, but I thought I'd try a Matchbox. Works like a charm. You plug the Matchbox into the throttle channel and you can plug in up to 4 servos. You can individually adjust the reversing, centering and end points.

I was setting up a new Twin Stick with 2 GMS .47s and had already mixed the channels when the Matchbox came in. I thought I'd give it a try, anyway. I plugged in the right throttle and checked it. I plugged in the left throttle and blip-blip, matched it to the right. Turn to 0 to save and it's done. It was so quick I couldn't believe it.

They are pricey at $70 for 1 or $110 for 2, but in my opinion, they are worth it. I love the gadget so far and am thinking of ordering 2 more.
