I had a carden as well, was 32lbs with a QS 150=rocket! 3D'd just fine. I could be wrong, but I imagine if QQ or Chip went to flying a Giles again and advertised it, everyone would have to have one. They are a good airplane, just personal preference on them, you either like them or you dont.
