Default Engine

On those recomending the 120 four stroke as a better choice

I just dont see how you would need it. I have a saito 100 on mine and the plane fly's smoother and 3d's better than some 40 and 33 percent airplanes i have flown. The 100 is to ME the perfect engine choice. It is LIGHT. And it is the perfect amount of power. I admit I do not just rocket out of a hover but I do climb out with plenty of authority. And i am at 3000' above sea level

Here is my setup,

Saito 100
Magnum 2 30% fuel
Apc 15X6 (waiting on my 16X4)
O.S. type F glow plug
Hitec 625's

In my opinion, a 120 is just going to force the adding of extra wieght to the airplane and hinder the flight characteristics. And as someone mentioned before the difference in a YS 91 or a Saito 100 compared to a 120 is not that much.

My best advice (WHICH MAY NOT BE WORTH MUCH)

Stick to a Saito 100 or a YS 91
