I have personally assembled and flown four US .40's with motors ranging from an ooooold fuji .40 to an OS .61 FX and its an amazing plane. Perfect second plane. In my opinion the OS .46 would be the better choice, or even the Irvine .53. The Stick is not a 3D aerobat, but a hugely stable and straight forward sport flyer, it doesn't need to hang on half throttle. In fact it flys beautifully even when its a little underpowered(fuji .40) - very scale like....

OS .46 - 10x6 - 11x7
Irvine .53 - 11x5 - 12x7

....and as always go fine if you really wanna hover
