Hi,

I flew planks for a couple of years before "resting" for 5 years after the birth of my son. Just before giving up, I brought a Baron 30, fully setup from a fellow club member. I flew about 6 tanks full and just about made hover.

Anyway, I'm trying to restart now. Before stopping I oiled all my engines up (planks and the heli) and left hanging in my garage. My question is, what should I be doing to "service" the heli prior to restarting? I've heard that I should throw out my flight pack nicads (does this alow apply to tx packs?) - but they seem fine. I'm sure I should be oiling up some of the heli parts but what parts and what with? Obviously I need to check all the parts over, but does anyone have any other advice?
