Default RE: problem with converting scenery

First, some basic questions/assumptions: Does AFPD work as expected and do the sceneries that came with the sim work normally?
If these are ok then next: Have you downloaded and installed any other sceneries created for AFPD, but not part of the originally installed sim? If so, do they function correctly? Assuming the above is all ok then next:

You've downloaded and decompressed sceneries created for Reflex XTR and the folder appears somewhere; mine appears on the desktop. The contents of the decompressed folder is ready for the Reflex sim but must be converted for use in AFPD - of course you know this.

Bring up the converter window and browse when requested for the folder, point to wherever the folder is and tell the converter to proceed.

The first step is for the converter to locate a panoramic image - it will stop at this point if none is found. If it finds the image it will list the files in order by number and begin to create the panoramic tiles as dots across the screen. Does this happen? If so, then the program will signal a successful conversion and the newly created "picture" folder and 3 accompanying files will have been placed in the AFPD scenery folder.

It's crucial that the folder and the 3 files needed for the scenery to work are created and placed in the scenery folder and that the name of the originally downloaded file is not changed in any way for any of the files; you might want to know how I know that. Take a look in the scenery folder to see what the folders and the files look like; your newly created files must look the same.

Of course the scenery should now work, and if all of the above has happened and the scenery still doesn't work, then my limited knowledge has run dry. If the process has stopped somewhere along the above line then describe in excruciating detail what happened and your computer equipment and set up; others may be able to help more.

Good luck and don't give up, this sim is great.

PS no problem with your English.
