Default Someone please help while Ralph is away.

I just reinstalled my RC Ignitions converted G23 in my CG Extra 300, and I am quite impressed with Ralph's work. The exercise reduced the weight of the 10.5 lb. model by 1 lb.

Unfortunately I am having a problem with a somewhat erratic top end, which I do not think has anything to do with the engine work that was done.

With the carb having been rotated and the needles now facing front in the cowl, the prop blast seems to be affecting the carb and causing a loss of rpm. When the carb is partially shielded from the prop blast the engine runs perfectly.

Otherwise, the engine starts easily, is much smoother and vibrates a lot at idle. What should I do.
