It is good practice, to keep ALL RC components as far away as possible from the engine ignitions components.
There are many that will tell you they got away with less, but they do not repair your plane if it crashed due to Radio Interference.

The tank has three lines:
one to fill up, one to vent the tank, and one fuel pickup. There is no pressure applied to the tank, and the fill line can be plugged when not in use. Route the tubing such, that syphon action is not possible.
