Covering holds real well, just seal it with nail polish. have not touched mine with iron or heat gun. and its strong stuff. I used stock hinges that came with it. I am using B&B hd ones on my DV, but so far, so good on these stockers. wing holder, great, takes the hassle out of putting it together. I find it great so far.
