Thanks Poor Judgement. I appreciate the detailed photos and reply back. After reading your latest reply, I will probably decide to PASS on trying this project for now. I really do not want to modify my MT2's chassis. In case I decide to go back to factory, I will have to drop another $45 dollars into getting a replacement chassis. At least for now, I can deal with spending $10 dollars for a replacement spur gear now and then. Maybe if enough of us requested it, CEN might add metal gears as an option for the MT2. I think they should come out with a New Generation MT2 Fun Factor truck. If they did, I would definitely buy one. This project seems like too much modification and grinding out of major chassis parts. I like my MT2's acceleration and I enjoy the 2nd speed. Also, based on the prices I was calculating last night, I can buy 4 complete sets of 44T and 47T Spur Gears for the same price it will take me to buy the $75 dollar cost for the GEN metal spur parts. Hopefully I do not sound ungrateful, I do appreciate all the reply's and answers you have given me. It just sounds like too much tearing up of the MT2 just for metal gears. Hey CenRacer, whats your opinion on this project? I would like to hear other opinions out there about this. Thanks again PJ. Hey CEN, its time for a new generation MT2. If you build it, We will buy it....
