I wasn't taught deadsticks at all during my training. but I took my own time and killed the motor myself cause I knew eventually the practice would come in handy.. The other day it did when my StG2300 got stuck at full throttle and I had to fly the full out of it ( Loooooong 23 minutes) Landed with NO DAMAGE!
