Is it really Heading Hold?

Oh darn … seems as though I have made a blunder.

I love these forums. You can make the most bazaar statements and there is a group of experts that will immediately set you straight. Your right, I haven’t tried it, I can’t even fly yet, but now I know what to watch out for.

So I heard mention Futaba 401, but did not hear what model JR or CSM gyros are considered heading hold. How about it?

So I take it there is no drift with these heading hold gyros. Nothing to set or balance because once they are set on course they will maintain direction indefinitely. Right?
