The canopy has a line which usually indicates the proper place to cut. I conservatively cut 1/2" outside this line and produced a canopy which has a gap at the rear bottom. It is useless.
What could this line be for?
Perhaps this canopy is for a plane other than the Extra?

I held the canopy against my other Extra canopy and found that the new canopy is smaller than the 1st. It is not the same size canopy which came with my first Extra.
