Default RE: COMPOSITE ARF MIG15 FIRST FLIGHT

Christain, re damage repair method? I would use thin plastic sheet sections carefully and well waxed (Turtle wax on inside surface) then place sections of plastic over open structured area held down and firmly in place with small dabs of Zap etc. also then wide masking tape as well. Then lay new glass cloth/epoxy from inside once cured remove plastic and ad new rivet and panel line detail. Hardest part will be removing internal gear to fully access repair area....

Re- gear never had any problems with the gear on my Mig?? works like a charm.... that said my one is an early Fiber Classics not Comp ARF. The early Comp ARF stock wheels are usless as they do not fit at all into wheel wells??? You can either fix that by just using BVM Mig wheels or even replace with the new Intairco wheels or complete landing gear system....

Andrew Coholic took this cool pic last weekend of my Mig 15 in action at 'Bay of Quinte' its definetely my new favorite jet to fly
