speed doesnt matter in drifting its all about control and accleration, like you could have a 300bhp ae87 beat a 600skyline in drifting because the skyline is massive overpowered, which is the same in rc, my mate beat a hpi r40 by 1 lap with his 19spec powered schumacher axis 2 so in theory you dont actually need straight line speed
