Default Texas Hurricane

Hey....
I can't really belive your Texas Hurricane came weighing 12 lbs...!!!! I friend's got the plans, but never decided to build it.... did u any modifications to the plane....? is it wearing a carbon fiber wing tube or landing gear....? is it a gasser...?????????
Have u tried hover and 3D with it...????
I'm flying over 8000 ft ASL, so weight is the magic word here.... A friend's H9 Edge 540 - Moki1.8 - carbon fiber landing gear never came down from 12 lbs being a glow engine powered plane...!
I'll give u a clue on how important weight is here: my GP Cap 232 weights 6.0 lbs sporting a Saito.91: Great pattern plane, but it's barely able to hover and do some 3D...!!! Not even close to unlimited vertical...!!!!!
If u think I could keep the hurricane under 13 -14.5 lbs wearing a DA 50... I won't think twice...!

Greetings
