Default RE: Wooden blades from rulers??? Details??

I hate to say it, but the last time I made wood blades, we didn't have digital cameras yet
You can get airfoil plots off the net, that will give you your template shapes, to actually shape the blades, I used to make scrapers out of old saw blades to the profile I was looking to cut. You can try sanding or planing, but you do need to maintain a constant profile to get a decent blade.
Try to use blanks that are from the same piece of wood, this way they will have a similer weight and flex.
Another thing we used to do was to laminate different woods to get different cord wise balances.
Unfortunatly with technology producing even decent composites for under 50 bucks, it's not worth the time to make a set of blades.
