You can't say I'm "Anti-Maloney." I've only played with a couple. They both needed an electric start, and while they ran nicely once started, powerful they weren't.
John Maloney (World Engines) and I had a good working relationship dating back to 1960, and even he admitted the Maloney engines weren't what he had hoped they would be. Primarily the hard hand start and lack of power.
Still, a nice running engine, just had to use the electric starter.
