Default RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

Hi everyone!

Once i was worried about torque of 18ss engine. I still was able to blow my rear diff[:@]
Now my diff is repaired, two teeth was missing. I allso sealed rear diff with silicone and put 5000wt silicone oils in.

Maybe this diff problem was caused by too tight slipper clutch (???) Anyway i adjusted it again, it can't be set any "looser" than it is now. Still it needs quite much pressure when i roll spur gear with my finger to make it slip (tyres allmost slip on the floor before slipper does slip).

Anyway, let's see if my diffs can handle THIS

Engine and new tuned pipe (and new tyres) was mounted yesterday. Break in is still in in progress - i have not really leaned it out yet... but what i can allready tell you is this thing really flies!!! 2.1HP and massive torque.... wow.

This (thunder tiger pro .21) engine has "E-start" system (with cordless drill). I broke my 18ss pullstarter (as you can see at the picture i posted), i will not have that kind of problems anymore, heh!
18ss engine will be mounted to my another car someday in the future.
