My stinger is 18#+ and was built for the ST 3000. What a mistake that was. I put weight in the tail to balance when building then found the 3000 was a dog to fly. I switched to the Saito 1.8 and had to put 1 # of lead in the nose to balance. With the Saito 1.8 the plane will hold a hover for about 30 seconds before tail slide. I decided the gas burners were too heavy for the performance I wanted. It does fly well with the saito,, but the plane is basically HEAVY by design. Jim
