Seeing as how the Aurora was designed for .61 two-strokes, and the many Auroras I saw fly back in the day all flew with authority on them, anything bigger than a piped .61 is simply excess horsepower. That's not to say it wouldn't be more fun, just unnecessary for this plane, as it isn't meant to be a 3D/AA ship.

Remember that bigger engines: 1) weigh more = heavier airplane
2) cost more = less money for fuel
3) need more prop clearance = longer/heavier landing gear and no retracts
4) drink more fuel = less money for airplanes

...all of which tend to offset the advantage of having more power in the first place.

Do we really need an Aurora that can prop hang?
