Flyinrazrback When the 2300's are running at their best they make good power. I have one and it turns a 18x6 with enough authority. It will haul around your cap good but I would suggest looking into the 1.60fx or a YS 140dz. The 1.60 is powerful and we all know the YS is a powerhouse too. I started a thread awhile back about 1.60fx tach readings.. Look it up and you will see what most people are getting with it. I have one in my 1/4 extra300xs with a 18x8 and it pulls out of a hover pretty good. It doesn't shoot up like a missile but it's good . I'm running it with a Perry vp20 oscillating pump, good reliable setup that will not let you down.
