I have this plane and I fly it with an O.S. 1.60 fx and I run an apc 18x6w. On 10% it will swing this prop @ 9,400. A friend did a comparison with the 1.60 and the 2300. The 2300 with a tuned pipe would turn the same rpm's as the 1.60 with a pitts muffler. My cap wieghed in heavy a just a tad over 13# and the O.S. will yank it off the ground and take it up as high as you'll ever want to go. they are a perfect match for each other.
