Default RE: Great Planes T-Craft for a Second Plane??

I have the GP "T-Craft" and I find it to be a nice little plane. I primarily built the plane because I had a 4 stroke FS-26 that needed a home and there are not a lot of choices that size to choose from. Having said that, the FS-26 is a little small for the plane. It will fly O.K., but aerobatics are limited. The FS-30 which replaced the FS-26 should be a good match. I had to add a little nose weight by adding a heavy brass spinner nut.

Find a better way to secure the landing gear fairings than what the instructions call for. Take a look at the GP "Pete 'n Poke" manual on GP's web site and note how the landing gear fairings are secured. I think that would work a lot better than than what was designed.

When taking off, it likes a lot of ground speed before rotating. Don't horse it off prematurely or it may tip stall. It does track nicely and lands easily.

Also, there were several reviews written on the "T-Craft". A search on "Google" should find them pretty quickly.

Good luck,

DaveB
