RE: At Multis Over McDonough
I'm getting the first blow in.
Here's Big Ed (red & white) giving instruction to Robby (black) while Walt (behind of twin tail Twin Air fame) supervises. Hee hee.
Actually, Robby wanted to fly my Cedra Hobbies Twin Stick-it is a fun plane-but I fly left handed (Mode 3). So we borrowed Walt's JR 9303 and copied the program over from my 8103. Robby was having to trim it out and learn where everything is on a JR. He flies that F brand and Walt and I have him out numbered. Robby's playing with switches and asking, "What's this switch do?" Walt is answering-his radio, remember. Meanwhile, I'm screaming, "Watch the damn airplane, Robby." It had the potential to be an "ethnic" fire drill. Be nice, they make all the airplanes.
Twin Stick powered by 2 GMS .47s/ 11-5 APC props, coming by low. It's a Stick so everyone is surprised at how fast it goes.
Twin Stick landing- it lands just like a Stick.
Walk Kahres' prototype twin tail Twin-Air 45. Walk did the development work for the twin tail version of the Northeast Aerodynamics kit. 2 OS .46FX's with Ultra Thrust mufflers & APC 11-5 props. It sings.
