You already have high wing trainer experience so why bother going to another one? I would look at some easy to fly low wing planes. There are some low wing planes that are more forgiving than the high wing planes you mentioned, are aerobatic and easy to land. Carl Goldberg Tiger2 or a 4* fourty will make you come home from the field smiling. Both have excellent low speed handling but will move out pretty quick when you want them to. The Rascal has been known to tip stall if you go too slow and the Cessna seems to like to come in hot to land.
