I would suggest a Super Tiger 90. It is a great inexpensive engine with 2s reliability and loads of power. The 180 would be way to big. This is a 60-90 size plane. 120 4s max.
What is the quality of this kit. I am seriously considering this one and haven't heard much feedback.

You are probably right on the saito 180 being too big. As far as the quality of the kit is concerned I can only coment on the appearence as I have yet to look "inside" at glue joints and such but the plane looks amazing. I couldn't cover a plane this nice. There is only one very small bubble in the covering and it is nothing a iron won't take out. To tell you the truth I don't see how a plane that looks this good can only cost 199.00 . This is my first ARF and I know how much work goes into a plane from start to finish and the price is shocking when you think about it. Anyway as far as engine size goes I decided I wouldn't put anything larger than a Saito 100 in it but I will look into the Super Tiger 90 (is that a 2 stroke or 4?)
