RE: What would YOU do to this !!! (picture)
Hello everyone and thank you all for the wonderfull replys.
I did not have place on my fusalage to put the triangle stocks, but I did use a very strong 11mm (a little larger then 3/8") wood and put corner struts.
The only thing which I worry about is the metal pushrod which I was forced to use for the throttle, as I tried very hard to incorporate a nylon rod, but because of that bend and the tight place I had no choice, I did however use plastic clevises. But I don't have an ignition system, only magneto, so that should keep the RF noise down, and the reciever is a good 20 inches away.
I hope I have done enoghe, please point out any mistake I've made. the plane is balancing on it's CG perfectly. The other issue which I noticed, when I jacked up the plane to make it level as you can see in the last picture, the prop/ground clearence was only 3cm or 1 1/4 of an inch, is that enough. the landing gear is epoxyed all over and it's tough to break it up to bend it.
Thanks again to all of you for pushing me along.
Mohammad Reza.
