JVB I flew it today and it fly's great the ailerons are a bit fast for pattern on low rates for my taste but the plane flys very good with the OS 91 it will hover with the 16x4w but no vertical pull out have to push or pull over to get out of hover, so for what your wanting it will do fine for pattern I used the 15x6 apc for pattern on the Epsilon will fly the sportsman and intermidate pattern fine weight is 8lb 13 1/2 oz my Epsilon weight was about the same as yours, you'll love this plane very good flyer, I got it because I'm waiting to get cataract surgery and can keep it close.
If you like 2 strokes the Webra 120 would be a great choice a freind uses one we cut one side off a pitts muffler and welded a cap back on and it runs flawless, it will have a slight weight gain over the OS 91 but will have much better performance
