Default RE: Glennis wheels report!!!!!!

Unfortunately your have learned an expensive lesson (like $500 -$600) I have been preaching for the last four years that the wheels and brakes made by Glennis (Dennis Rastetter) are junk and always will be junk. You will not get any satisfaction from Dennis on the failure of the wheels. He will direct you to his "terms and conditions of sale" which are rediculous. Believe me they are not in your favor. They are to protect him from the customers he sells his junk to. I know and I have been there and done that! He made 3 shipments to me of the same product of which the first two were junk. The machining looked like a high school kid did it. Dunn & Bradstreet says he has 3 employees - Dennis, his father and maybe his wife. Everything is farmed out. Fortunately I charged them to VISA so I had their complaint department working for me. It took a full year, many letters, phone calls and a complaint to Visa's complaint department. After I received a respectable set of wheels and brakes Dennis wrote me an Email and called me a "COMMON CRIMINAL", a "STREET THUG WITH A GUN". and a "DEADBEAT". DEADBEAT? - hardly. Dennis had his money the day I placed the order. That is the way he does business. Your only hope is that you charged them to a credit card. Even if you have paid them you still can file a complaint against Glennis. After that give the Better Business Bureau a shot at him. Try the Secretary of the State or Attorney General of California. There are many ways to deal with people who try and cheat you. And don't let him try and scare you out of it - he will. After I received the wheels and brakes that appeared to be respectable I sold them as fast as I could find someone to buy them. I also sold a second set that came from Century Jet in a F9F-9 Cougar kit. They were also sold at about 50% of what Glennis sells them for.

The reason your tires came apart is because of the poor material used to mold them. They came off the rims? The brearing wore out and ruined you rims?? Common for a Glennis Product. His bearings are made of cheap plastic. The brake design is not the standard "O" ring type. They are a 'mickey mouse' unconventional design. That is why they wear out quickly and lockup. No other manufacturer of wheels and brakes uses a cheap plastic bearing. All are either brass, bronze or ball or roller bearings. There are MANY excellent wheel and brake manufacturers and more are coming on line every day. But Glennis is not one of them.

Dennis is a hibitual liar. I can prove that in a 10 page letter I wrote and circulated. If you would like a copy of this letter I will be happy to Email it to you. It will open your eyes. Just send me an Email with your address and I will send it to you. Dennis has threatened to sue me for liable and to file criminal charges against me. I wish he would. All he does is threaten.

I wish you well in your problem with the Glennis wheels. You are goiing to need it.
