It looks like to me that he is not using enough elevator in high alpha which is causing the wing rock. With 3D either you have to jump in fully on the rates or risk an unstable plane. The Ultimates I have seen are very stable in harrier and elevator manuevers.
Maybe a 30%+ Ultimate, but not this one. If my DP Ultimate can shave another pound, it perhaps will harrier w/o wing rock. At my current CG (which is pretty aft already judging from the flat spin), the wing rock is much worse at a higher alpha, to a point that if I am not careful, it will snap out. At this shallower angle, it rocks, but harmlessly back and forth.

For waterfall, I was able to get some tighter ones when I had the CG more aft, as in last year's video:

I had the cowl removed, used light hub, and used Pro-Zinger prop. AUW was 12-lb. It was lighter and more tail heavy, which helped the waterfall. I think if I change back to this configuration, I should be able to get it to harrier better, now that I am more comfortable with harrier flight.

My next step is to get a Bambula 18x8 and get more thrust while shaving more nose weight.
