There are some hardened Genesis pinions being produced privately by a guy on ebay. I mailed him and he says if enough people want FunFactor steel pinions, he will do 14 tooth (1st gear) and 18 tooth (2nd gear) for $35 a pair, incl shipping.

I am running Genesis hardened steel spurs, 39 and 43 tooth (on cens optianal alloy 2 speed hubs), on my funfactor, and I am about to fit a .28 in it. Anyone with a big block, or thinking of fitting one, would be well advised to check out this setup.
