Dennis:
Those photos demonstrate some real Yankee Ingenuity.......
Never had any problems with your W/B on my aged Hotspot with more than 200 flights on it, about 1/2 on grass and 1/2 on hard surface......using a UP-6 proportional brake valve with about 30-40 PSI in the tank......
Guess I am on the 3rd set of main tires in those 200 or so flights......still on the original nose tire.....
One thing I have noticed is that if you lose a tire off any manufacturer's W/B, you have to check the rim carefully.....they can and do grind down, often quite drastically, precluding any tire staying on after that.....
The photo on the next post is of one of your beauties off my now deceased Planes Plus F-15....takeoff weight was 32 lbs.....lots of flights....despite a nasty crash that ripped out the gear mounting plate and wet-noodled the strut, the tire is still on and as tight today as when it was put on....
Happy I-Day....
Tom
