Default Miss America Conversion

This is a 75% version of Frank Zaic's classic design modified by Norm Rosenstock in
the July, 1994 issue of Model Aviation. I had the parts cut by Klarich Custom Kits.
Mine was built in 2001 for a .10 engine. It needed very little power to stay airborne, but
the .10 engine could not get it moving along a grass runway. A .15 jumped into the air
but was too powerful for this floater. Converting now to e-power has solved the
problem.

The motor is an Axi 2808/24 with an 8x4 prop and 3x1500 LiPos. Wingspan is 62"
and wing area is 600 sq.inches. Weight now is 35.3 oz. compared to 38.0 oz. for
glow power. I am very pleased with this conversion and fly it sitting in a chair with my
feet propped up on the pilot protector so I can just scan the clouds as it floats up high.
Very relaxing.
