I personally have no idea what a stadium style truck is. I mean if you look at some of the Unlimiteds they are similar to CEN's. Flat chassis with a low center of gravity. XTM Mammoth, GS Storm SUT, and Hot Bodies LSP for examples. In fact for the most part the SUT and LSP are converted buggies.
I think it all boils down to the wheels for some reason or another and whether the manufacturer supplied them with the kit or as an upgrade or not. Why you can't just change them to comply and race is beyond me.
Maybe over there the word unlimited has a different meaning than over here. Here you can race in unlimited if the tires comply, and the stock ones do.
