Default RE: My new Patriot

Don't care! Who'd want a Jett anyway [:'(]

Patriots seem to be rare this side of the pond, so I can believe its the only one on your little Island
I found one last Christmas that someone had built and then was selling (lucky for me) but since writing it off in a mid air, I've had to resort to building a new one from the kit (a task I don't go a bundle on as I prefer the time scale associated with ARTFs)......but anyhoo, if I want a good plane, I'll have to make a sacrifice somewhere! Mine flew very very well on a piped 46FX - (till I over cooked it )....then an MDS 58 would you believe. I'm sure the Rossi will rock it! Do you have retracts? Mine didn't, and I eventually took the fixed gear off and made a dolly. Although I doubt belly landing would do that pipe any good, even if it is purple

Cheers for now.....best of luck with the maiden. The Patriot has a vast flight envelope...got mine to slow down to walking pace with relative high AOA, but the high speed is also very satisfying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
