I've had a Triton for a few months now and hardly ever use the memory functions...

I usually toggle between NiCd and NiMh. Charge to 1c mostly. ie: Your Tx is 700mAh, so it would I would charge it at .7A (or up to 1A if in a hurry).

I don't believe the voltage per cell is applicable to anything other then Lipo's. Not sure about that though.
