Rolland, the GS SUT, Hot Bodies LSP and all other buggy conversions, race in a class called 'Outlaw' over here. The defining characteristic of an outlaw truck is the inclusion of a centre diff. Obviously the FF has no centre diff and is therefore an MT, or so you would think. The defining factor for the exclusion of the CEN and all other brands offering a similar truck, seems to be that they are based on a flat chassis plate and run 2.2" wheels.
The rules for the small block class must have been changed sometime over the past twelve months because initially (about 18 months ago) I was told that the CEN and other 1:10 trucks were allowed to race as small block mts'.
aj, hopefully we wont have to fight it. A class that allows only two manufacturers to compete is doomed to failure, especially as HPI have just released the NMT2 .18SS, which should prove to be very popular. If the new owners of these trucks bring some pressure to bear then the rules may be relaxed to include our trucks once again.
